Boquete is situated at an altitude of 3,500 feet in a mountain region of Panama close to the border of Costa Rica.
Boquete is approximately 30 minutes from the international airport in David, on a new 4-lane highway. David is on the Pan-American Highway and is only a 30 minute flight from the capital, Panama City, or a very scenic drive of about 4 hours.
